The immersive exhibit, opening in spring 2015, will bring visitors close to these amazing ocean giants, while highlighting rich local seascapes where sharks thrive and showcasing WCS shark conservation work.

The electric eel is one powerful fish. It uses its electric shock to defend itself against predators or to secure prey. Electricity can also help this nocturnal hunter find its way in the dark.

To celebrate Tazo's first birthday, aquarium staff prepared a krill cake just for him. This northern sea otter came to us from Alaska as a newborn foundling in 2010.

Come meet Tazo, an orphaned northern sea otter found stranded last summer in Alaska, nursed to health at the aquarium, and now on exhibit at Sea Cliffs, where he’s clearly enjoying being the center of attention.
