A sea otter pup rescued in Alaska is growing up under the watchful eyes of New York Aquarium keepers. Now living behind-the-scenes until he is weaned, Tazo will move to Sea Cliffs later this year.

The New York Aquarium opened its doors on December 10, 1896 in Battery Park, Manhattan. Since then, we've grown up and moved out—to Brooklyn, of course. We're now part of legendary Coney Island and home for more than 10,000 marine creatures.
