Julie Larsen Maher ©WCSThis summer, The New York Aquarium is offering week long camps for your children (ages 6 to 12). Campers will engage in special investigations, interactive games, creative projects, animal guests and much more. Every day will be a different adventure!

Aquatic Adventurers
(ages 6 to 8; must be 6 years old by the first day of camp)
Fees per session: $275
Member Price: $250
This 5-day camp will focus on exploring the wonders of the aquatic environment and aquatic animals. Crafts, hands-on activities, puppets, and live animals will make the learning fun!
Aquatic Adventurers will:
- Observe animals and how they live.
- Explore the Aquarium’s collection in front and behind the scenes.
- Discover some of unique characteristics of marine animals through fun activities.
Days: Monday through Friday
Time: 9:00am to 2:00pm
Session A: July 5th, 2010 – July 9th, 2010
Session B: July 26th, 2010 – July 30th, 2010
Session C: August 16th, 2010 – August 20th, 2010
Marine Explorers
(ages 9 to 12; must be 9 years old by the first day of camp)
Regular Price: $275
Member Price: $250
During this adventure, we’ll explore the fascinating world of ocean life through hands-on science activities that are both engaging, as well as, enriching experiences for our future marine explorers.
Marine Explorers will:
- Meet our animals up close and personal.
- Observe animal behavior and discover the characteristics that help them survive.
- Take an Insider’s Tour to see what it would be like to be an animal keeper.
Days: Monday through Friday
Time: 9:00am to 2:00pm
Session A: July 12th, 2010 – July 16th, 2010
Session B: August 2nd, 2010 – August 6th, 2010
Session C: August 23rd, 2010 – August 27th, 2010
Other Information
Food: Campers must bring their own lunches, snacks and beverages (refrigeration available).
Registration: Advanced registration is required for all programs. Registration is open NOW. Space is limited. Registration requests will be accepted via the online request form or mail if you decide to print the form. No drop-in or phone registrations will be accepted. To register, please click here.

Health Forms: All campers MUST SUBMIT A COMPLETED AND SIGNED MEDICAL FORM AND VACCINATION RECORD BY THE 1ST DAY OF CAMP. Your child will not be admitted into the camp without the completed and signed form. A copy of this form is will be included in your confirmation package once your payment is received.
