While the animals at the New York Aquarium have thick coats or waterproof feathers to protect them from the cold, many New Yorkers are not quite so lucky and could use our help to stay warm this winter.
This December, the New York Aquarium is teaming up with the Brooklyn Borough President’s office and New York Cares to collect new or gently used coats as part of the New York Cares Coat Drive. Please donate a winter coat to help one of the thousands of New Yorkers in need. Aquarium guests can drop off their new or gently used coats in the New York Aquarium lobby.
