Loggerhead Sea Turtle

Loggerhead Sea Turtle

The loggerhead sea turtle cruises coastal waters along six continents and is able to swim a third of the way around the world—one of the longest migrations of any marine animal. The orange-brown color of its shell and upper body helps it stand out from the other six sea turtle species. Loggerheads are the most common type of sea turtle seen by divers in Florida and the Bahamas.

Tomato Frog

Known in Madagascar as the "sangongogno," this bright red frog inflates itself when threatened and looks just like a ripe tomato. Its vivid coloration also serves as a warning sign to predators that it will not taste good.
